Branded Footwear – more than the sum of its parts…

Footwear is considered to be one of the most important product groups for fashion brands next to textiles. The product complexity of footwear requires high levels of expertise, creativity, know-how and discipline on the side of the licensee, as well as willingness to cooperate, tolerance and trust on the side of the licensor.

The strategically planned and professionally managed diffusion of a fashion brand into the footwear market can significantly add to the brands versatility. The way the HMS differentiates itself in this industry is rooted in the company’s unique structural competence along the entire value chain:

+ market research
+ product development & design
+ product sourcing
+ international distribution
+ logistics organization
+ comprehensive brand management

These points are at the core of our service spectrum. They make the difference to being able to create successful branded footwear.

The first licensed brands whose success carries our signature

As predecessor to the HMS, Shoe Company, while still part of the Hamm-Group, took over the first footwear license for the European footwear market from an international fashion brand in 1990. The transfer of the brand Marc O’Polo into the footwear market created a completely new market segment.

In the following years Hamm Market Solutions established new licensing agreements with international fashion brands including: Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Tailor, Peak Performance and currently Scotch & Soda and Gant.
